Lomo Fit ("the App") is a workout log that runs entirely on your device. There is no account, and the developer does not receive or store your workout or health data.
1. Information the App handles
Information you enter:
- Workout logs (exercises, sets, weight, reps, RIR/RPE, rest), routines, notes
- Profile details such as body weight, height, date of birth and training experience, and body-composition entries
- Morning recovery check-ins (soreness, fatigue, sleep quality, joint pain)
- App settings such as units, language, theme and reminders
Information read from Apple Health (HealthKit), only for the types you allow:
- Sleep duration and sleep stages
- Resting heart rate and heart rate variability (HRV SDNN)
- Step count and walking/running distance
- Dietary energy, protein, carbohydrates and fat
2. Purpose
This information is used only on your device to calculate muscle recovery, daily readiness, workout suggestions, nutrition and body metrics, and to show your history. It is never used for advertising, marketing or profiling.
3. Storage and retention
- All information is stored in the App's private storage on your device (an SQLite database), protected by iOS device encryption. The App does not add its own encryption layer.
- The developer runs no servers, and the App does not send workout or health data over the internet.
- Data stays on your device until you delete it or delete the App.
4. When data can leave your device
The App never sends your data anywhere by itself. Data can exist outside the device only through your own choices or iOS features:
- Exports: a JSON/CSV backup you create in Settings goes wherever you choose to send it (Files, Mail, etc.).
- iOS device backups: if iCloud Backup or computer backups are on, App data may be included under Apple's policies.
- iOS system features: exercise and routine names are indexed for Spotlight; Shortcuts/Siri actions and notifications are handled by iOS on your device.
5. Sharing and tracking
- We do not sell or share your information with third parties.
- The App contains no advertising SDKs, behavioral analytics or cross-app tracking (
NSPrivacyTracking = false). - In line with App Store Review Guideline 5.1.3, HealthKit data is never used for advertising, sold, or shared with third parties.
- The App does not write to Apple Health (read-only).
6. Your choices
- Access and export: export your full history as JSON or CSV from Settings > Backup & Restore.
- Deletion: reset health metrics and recovery history from Settings > Privacy & Safety. Deleting the App removes all App data stored on the device.
- Revoke Health access: turn it off any time in iOS Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices > Lomo Fit.
7. Children
The App is not directed at children under 14.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this document and the in-app policy and revise the effective date.
