Frequently asked questions

Where is my log stored?

Only on your device. It is never sent to a developer server, and there is no account. See the Privacy Policy for details.

How do I move to a new iPhone?

Restoring an iCloud or computer iPhone backup on the new device can bring the app's data back too (depending on your Apple backup settings).

To move it yourself, export JSON in Settings > Backup & Restore and import it on the new device. The JSON backup includes workouts, routines, the exercise list, favorites, body-composition and nutrition logs, recovery check-ins, personalized recovery parameters, trainer profile and settings.

I want to turn off Apple Health reading.

Turn items off in iOS Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices > Lomo Fit. Turned-off data is not used for recovery calculations.

My health data does not show up in the app.

Check that sleep, resting heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV) and steps are actually recorded in the Health app, and that read access for Lomo Fit is on in the path above. Data from Apple Watch or other devices must sync to Health first.

I want to delete my data.

Reset health metrics and recovery history in Settings > Privacy & Safety. Deleting the app removes all app data stored on the device. The developer keeps no user data, so there is nothing to delete on a server.

Are recovery scores and suggestions medical advice?

No. They are general reference values calculated from your training and health data and do not replace medical diagnosis or treatment. See a professional if something feels wrong or pain continues.
